How JUVEDÉRM VOLUMA® Works
Like other JUVEDÉRM® products, JUVEDÉRM VOLUMA® XC is also composed of hyaluronic acid—a naturally occurring element in the skin that delivers nutrients and helps retain moisture and softness. As we age, the amount of hyaluronic acid in our skin decreases, causing our cheeks to flatten and sag.
Once injected, JUVEDÉRM VOLUMA® XC replaces the hyaluronic acid your skin has lost, adding instant volume to lift and contour the cheeks. It is different than other JUVEDÉRM® products because it is thicker and meant for deeper injection. Each treatment session takes 10 to 20 minutes.
